In this in-depth session for grades 5–8 science educators, participants will explore how force acting on an object’s position and motion serves as the foundation for understanding Newton’s Laws of Motion. Through a conceptual deep dive, educators will examine how changes in position, speed, and direction result from the interaction of forces—laying the groundwork for key physical science principles. Emphasis will be placed on building a strong content foundation aligned with TEKS, clarifying common misconceptions, and connecting observable motion to the fundamental laws that govern it.
